Corrections Policy

Faorms corrects material errors and records substantive updates. This policy explains how to report an error and how corrections are shown.

How to report an error

Email hello@faorms.website or use our Contact page. Please include the article URL and the exact passage, and tell us what is wrong and why. For a correction, include the article URL and the exact passage. [TODO: owner to confirm a true response-time window.]

What counts as a material error

A material error is a factual mistake, an unsafe instruction, a missing attribution, an unclear disclosure, or a claim presented as tested or sourced when it is not. Typos and formatting fixes are not material errors, but we fix them too.

How we handle a report

The editor reviews the report, checks the passage against the sources and testing notes for the article, and decides whether a correction is needed. If a claim cannot be verified, it is qualified or removed rather than left standing.

How corrections are shown

When a material error is corrected, the article carries a correction note stating the date and what changed. Substantive updates are recorded in the article. We do not silently change substantive claims, and we do not change publication dates to hide updates.

What we do not do

We do not delete an article to hide an error. We do not present a corrected passage as if it had always read that way. We do not invent a reviewer, source, or test result to justify a correction.
